Now that the oldest two children in our house are 4 and 2 years old, we find that playing boxed games together is often an activity of choice. We may not always play with the pieces the way the instructions suggest, but here are our hot favourites-of-the-moment...

We play fireman Sam's hoses and ladders, wiggly worms, elefun (firm favourite) and marble run (which might not strictly count).....
