Ever since the cousins came at Christmas (and Grandma got inventive with the fruit), my kids have been asking for 'kerbabbies'. I don't know how we didn't come up with this devious method of disguised fruit ingestion before. Generally, my children enjoy eating the fruity element of their 5-a-day - however, it would seem that eating fruit in the form of kebabs is INCREDIBLY EXCITING. I had to get out the cocktail sticks again today and our fruit stocks are rapidly dwindling. Mr Tesco tomorrow methinks. I got excited when I saw these beautiful rainbow ones on Pinterest but they could get pretty expensive at the rate they would be consumed here.
It would also seem that using shaped cutters also transforms the boring cheese spread sandwich into something heart-palpitatingly consumable. (Made up words?) Little did I know how fun sandwiches could be!
Have you had any tasty sandwiches recently? How much did you enjoy the experience? Would it have been better for a cutter? I think will be raiding the playdough box lunch time tomorrow when the kids are having a rest. "Such fun!"

Jo. do you remember when you and particularly Rebecca, weren't terribly interested in breakfast before school and I created toast houses for you with windows and chimneys decorated in marmite/jam etc.
I did overdo the marmite window frames on on occasion, which made your sister sick. It did not win the wholehearted approval of your mother.
